Dolni Dubnik is a town in Northern Bulgaria. Administrative center of Dolni Dubnik municipality, Pleven District.

It is 16 km west of the city of Pleven, 40 km northeast of the town of Cherven Bryag, 60 km northwest of the town of Lovech, 163 km southwest of Rousse.

The population is around 5000 people.

Nature

The region of Dolni Dubnik falls at the southern end of the central part of the hilly Danubian Plain on the border with Fore. The altitude is about 70 m.
The climate is temperate continental and relatively dry. Winter is particularly cold. Average temperatures in January are around - 5 º C. Spring is warm and extremely hot summer due to the plain character of the area. Average temperatures in July range between 30-35 º C. Autumn cold days occur in mid-October.
Main water resources are Vit River and smaller rivers Sadovsko, Beglezhka, Petarnishka Dabnishka and Barry. Here is the largest dam in the Pleven district - near the village of Gorni Dubnik.

Infrastructure
