Zavet is a village in the municipality Sungurlare, Burgas region.
In Bulgaria there is another village which has the same name - in Zavet municipality, Targovishte region.
It is situated 34 km northeast of the city of Sungurlare, 72 km northwest of the city of Burgas and about 400 km east of Sofia.
The village is situated on the riverside of Kamchia, at an altitude of about 150 meters. The climate is characterized by mild winters, early spring, moderately hot summers and warm autumn.
The population is about 120 people. There is a regular train transport that connects Zavet with neighboring villages and the whole country.
In the village there are electricity and water supply systems, it has all range of mobile operators. There are a general store and church. Nearest kindergarten and school are on the territory of the village of Saedinenie / 7 km /. Medical care is covered by an emergency room in the city Sungurlare and hospital in Karnobat / 45 km /.
In Zavet guests can visit church "St. Petka", built in 2005. Each year the village council is held on 24 May
The village is suitable for ecotourism, rural tourism and wine tourism because of clean air, fertile soil and its location - the area between Karnobat and Sungurlare, which is known for its well-developed wine traditions.
The city Sungurlare can visit the church "St. Michael" and the Museum of Wine and Vine.
