Yastrebovo is a village in the Central part of Northern Bulgaria. It is situated in Ruse Municipality, Ruse Region.
There is another village with the same name in Bulgaria. It is located in Opan Municipality, Stara Zagora Region.
There is a railway station Yastrebovo from the railway line Ruse-Varna. Regular bus transportation goes to town of Ruse and village of Semerdzhievo.
Yastrebovo spreads out the eastern part of the Danube plain. It characterizes with plain relief and humid continental climate. Cold winter and dry, hot summer.
The population is approximately 340 people. It is provided with electricity, water and communication equipment.
There is a town-hall, a post office, a community centre and commercial areas. The community centre is with a library, a theatre group and modern ballet.

About 22 km away is the operational and well-preserved rocky monastery 'St Dimitrii Basarbovski'.
Lipnik forest park at village of Nikolovo (21 km) is a preferred place for recreation at weekends. The park is convenient for pedestrian and bicycle tourism, water-wheeling and fishing. There is a small zoo park with bears, goats and birds.
