Vresovo is a village in Ruen municipality, Burgas Province.
It is situated 8 km northwest of the village of Ruen, 47 km and 16 km respectively in the same direction from Burgas and Aytos and about 410 km east of Sofia.
The village is situated at an altitude of 180 meters, near the river Belabandere, a tributary of the River Luda Kamchia. Climate in the region is characterized by mild winters and summers are warm and dry.
The population outnumbers about 880 people.
There are a town hall, primary school, grocery stores and gas station in Vresovo. Medical care is covered by a general practitioner. The nearest medical center is located in the village of Ruen, and there is a hospital in Aytos. There is a kindergarten in the village Yabulchevo / 6 km /.
Each year the village mummers festival is held in early March.
Near Vresovo tourists can visit another monastery "St. Joachim and Anna"near the village Lyulyakovo, zoo and ethnographic complex "Genger" in Aitos and Burgas mineral baths, situated about 30 km, whose water has healing properties known worldwide.
