Vodata is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Smolyan, Smolyan region.

It is 20 kilometers northwest of the town of Smolyan, 5 km in the direction of the resort Pamporovo, 18 kilometers southwest of the town of Chepelare and 231 km from the capital Sofia. Stoykite neighboring villages and Shiroka laka are located 2 km south and 6 km northwest.
There is bus line to the village.
