Vladislavtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is in Dragoman municipality, Sofia region.
It is 4 km northwest of the village of Gaber, 10 km west of the town of Dragoman and 54 km in the northwest direction from the capital Sofia.
It is situated in the historical area Burel, that encompasses West Bulgaria and East Serbia, also known as the Western suburbs.
The village is located at altitude of 611 m. The climate is temperate and the summer is characterized by hot summer while the winter is cool. The amount of precipitation is little.
The permanent population is about 60 people.
The nearest schools and medical care can be found in the neighboring village of Gaber. Affairs Medical Center in Dragoman and the capital are specialized hospitals.
In 2003 the old church "St Bogoroditsa" is updated with local family and was consecrated by the metropolitan of Plovdiv.
The first Sunday of July is made.
To the village in the area Progon can be seen the ruins of a medieval church. Nearby there are numerous vows among them that of St. Elias, St. Saviour, St. George and others.
Tourism and landmarks
With its natural foundations, beautiful scenery and almost untouched nature the territory of Dragoman has that is needed to become attractive tourist destination for mountain tourism. The high rock karst formations attract the attention of climbers, cavers and hang-gliding, while the unexplored terrains are for the archaeologists and botanists.
The people that enjoy the extreme sports can go to the Chepan hill for this is one of the most suitable places for this kind of sport.
Interesting for tourism are the architectural and historical landmarks as Razboishki monastery, Cheparlyanski monastery etc.
Dragoman marsh - it is the only in Bulgaria with karst origin, which gives it special conservation concern.
Situated in a large valley surrounded by limestone hills, an area of 400 hectares.
It was declared a nature reserve, part of the ornithological importance of place - Rayanovski wet meadows.
Swamp is located in the path of migrating birds Via Aristotelis, they stop here in the rich marsh vegetation to relax before you fly again.
Temnata dupka cave is natural landmark that the tourist can visit and is located to the village of Berende izvor. It is 425 m long and in it there are different cave rock formations stalactites, stalagmites, partitions, small lakes, and water wells, stone lillies and formations. It is declared natural landmark.
