Varli dol is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Nedelino Municipality, Smolyan region.

In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name in Kirkovo Municipality, Kardzhali region.

Situated 16 km west from the town of Nedelino, about 13 km southeast from the town of Madan, about 42 km southeast from the town of Smolyan and 278 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
There is regular bus transport.

Varli dol village is located in a mountainous area, at 800 m altitude.
The climate is moderate-continental. Winter is mild and snowy, summer is cool and moist, and the autumn - long and warm.

The permanent population is about 150 inhabitants.

Varli dol has a town hall and shop. In the town of Nedelino there is a doctor and dentist. The nearest hospital, kindergarten and school are located in the town of Madan.

The village is situated among beech, oak, spruce and pine forests, and the area is rich in rare plant and animal species. The combination of fresh mountain air, mild climate and exceptional hospitality and warmth of the locals is a great opportunity for rest and relaxation.

3 km away from the village is located hut "Shadiytsa" with a folk-style tavern offering traditional cuisine of the region.

In the town of Nedelino you can see chapels "St. Constantine and Helena", "St. Athanasius" and "St. Nedelya" - forming so called " Krastovaforest".

And in the town of Madan you can visit: Cave-Museum "Sharenka", area "Gabata", rock "Rimpapa", area"Kichikaya".
