Varbitsa is a village in Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.
In Bulgaria there are four places which have the same name - in Byala Slatina municipality, District Vratsa, in Pleven municipality, Pleven district , in Varbitsa municipality, Shumen district and in the municipality of Dimitrovgrad, Haskovo district.
It is situated northeast, respectively, 15 km from Gorna Oryahovitsa, 25 km from Veliko Tarnovo, 8 km from the town of Dolna Oryahovitsa and about 250 km from Sofia. It is 5 km away from the main road Sofia - Varna.
Varbitsa is located at 56 meters altitude, on the banks of the Yantra River. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold, snowy winter.
The population is about 1,100 people. There is bus service to neighboring cities.
The village has a town hall, shops, restaurants and community center. Here operate a primary school and kindergarten. Medical care is covered by a general practitioner and the nearest hospital is located in Gorna Oryahovitsa.

Church St. Marina was built in 1884. In the palace is the only monument to Russian soldiers killed in Gorna Oryahovitsa.
