Ushintsi is a village in northeast Bulgaria. It is located in Razgrad municipality, Razgrad region.
The village is bisected by the main road Ruse-Varna, located 6 km southeast of the town of Razgrad, 113 km northwest from the nearest airport in Varna and 360 km southeast of Sofia.
The village has regular bus service.
Ushintsi is situated at an altitude of 240 m in the valley of the Beli Lom. The climate is characterized by hot dry summers and cold winters. Spring comes early and is colder than autumn.
An interesting fact is that Ushintsi is the only village with growth in population in Razgrad in recent years. Residents are about 250.
The village is well-developed - the streets are paved, there is coverage of mobile operators. There is a town hall, post office, community center, library and club for youngsters and for pensioners and church.
Nearest schools and medical facilities are in the district town of Razgrad.
Villa zone "White Monastery" located on the edge of the village is a popular place for holiday or weekends for the people from the neighboring cities. Built mostly with new houses.
Cultural and natural attractions
Old barn in the village center with over 100 years of history is a place worth seeing and also the church "St. Archangel Michael".
Beli Lom and the dam with the same name offer excellent fishing conditions.
