Tipchenitsa is a village located in the municipality of Mezdra, Vratsa District.
It is situated 31 km south-east of Vratsa, 15 km south of Mezdra, 65 km north-west from Montana, about 17 km north of Botevgrad and about 90 km south-west of Sofia.
3 km away from the village passes the international road E79, which connects Vidin with Kulata checkpoint.
Tipchenitsa is set at the foot of the Balkan mountain, on 495 meters above sea level.
The population numbers about 700 people.
The whole village has electricity and water supply, the streets are paved and well lit. There are a health service, a kindergarten, a community center, a restaurant, several food shops, bakeries and cafes. There is a family hotel offering excellent accommodation for tourists.
In Tipchenitsa has several operating companies for trading, manufacturing and transport.
Church St. Dimitar was built in 1840 and renovated in 2004. It is one of the most picturesque in Mezdra municipality.

Ledenika cave-one of the most interesting Bulgarian caves, located 45 km from Tipchenitsa.
