Tetovo is a village in the Central part of Northern Bulgaria. It is situated in Ruse Municipality, Ruse Region.

The settlement spreads out the eastern part of the Danube plain, on 340 m above the sea level. Plain and hilly relief that characterizes with big forest massifs. The climate is humid continental with hot, dry summer and cold winter.
Tetovo is a well-developed village, with population of about 2 180 people. It is provided with electricity, water and communication equipment. There is a town-hall, a post office, a police inspector on duty, an elementary school, a community centre with a library, a doctor, dentists, a centre for middle-aged people, an orthodox church and commercial areas.
The main means of living is agriculture and stock-breeding. Part of the population works in the limestone-pit.
Tetovo was awarded with Golden Stamp for its cultural-historical development and unique natural resources. Several burial sites and caves from the ancient times could be seen about 5 km in north-eastern direction. Impressive also is the Fortress in 'Ostar mech' area - it is claimed that an old Roman town lies under it.
Big forest massif spreads out next to the village. It is convenient for picnics and hunting. The dam near Tetovo serves for irrigation and fish-breeding. You may catch perch, carassius, etc.
