Landmarks and tourism

Stremtsi is popular in the region with its ancient gold mines, known as 'Inikler' cave. They are set about 200 m away of the main road Kardzhali-Haskovo, after the micro-dam between the villages of Rani list and Stremtsi. The mine workmanships are hewn in very strong rocks, without any use of pillar. They follow the ore-bearing lead and resemble a labyrinth. At the end of the galleries is located a small lake. The site is easily accessible, but it is not recommendable to go in there without any guide who knows the disposition of the galleries.

About 8 km away of the village is set the historical landmark 'Perperikon' - archeological complex, consisting of large megalithic sanctuary, monuments from the antiquity and medieval fortress.
