Strashimirovo is a village in north-eastern Bulgaria and is part of Beloslav Municipality, Varna region. The village is about 2 km south-west to the town of Beloslav, 10km north-east to the sea capital Varna and 432 km south-west to the city of Sofia.
It is situated at 31 m altitude. The population is about 900 inhabitants. The climate is temperate continental with strong Black sea influence. Cool summer, rainy autumn, mild winter and sunny spring.
The village is well covered with utilized infrastructure. Strong growth of the construction has occurred over the past two years, due to the close proximity to Varna city.
There is a regular rail and bus transport to the village. There are bus lines to Varna and Devnya, as well as rail line Sofia-Varna.
In the village there is a kindergarten and community center. One general practitioner is looking after the health of the locals. The nearest hospital is located in city of Varna.
Favourable location and convenient transport make Strashimirovo a preferred destination for foreigners, lovers of rural tourism, and all those who come here, just to escape for a few days from the noise and tension in the big city. Strashimirovo is situated at the shore of the lake Beloslavsko ezero, where the surf lovers gather, when the wind is suitable for practising this sport.
At about 2 km distance reserve Pobitite kamani is located - an unique landmark, not only in Bulgaria, but in whole of Europe. There are over 300 large and small stone formations.
