Sturgel is a village in western Bulgaria. It is located in Gorna Malina Municipality, Sofia District.
It is 21 km southwest of the village of Gorna Malina, 50 km east of Sofia, 30 km northeast of the town of Elin Pelin.
The population is about 307 people.
Sturgel a little picturesque village, located on the southern slope of the Balkan Mountains, under Mount Zvezdets, at an altitude of 903 m.
