Srednevo is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is part of Chernoochene Municipality, Kardzhali region.
Srednevo is located 2 km south-west of the village of Chernoochene, 15 km north of Kardzhali, 32 km south-west of Haskovo and approximately 228 km south-east of the capital Sofia city.
The village of Srednevo spreads in the Eastern Rhodopes, at an altitude of about 502 m. The relief is mountainous and the climate characterizes with warm summer and cold winter. There is regular bus transport to the neighbouring villages.
The population is approximately 180 people.
The village's infrastructure is settled with partly asphalted and lighted streets. There are water and electricity supply systems. Srednevo comprises a mayor viceroyalty, a mosque and a grocery store. The nearest health centers and schools, kindergartens, police department and post office are in Chernoochene.

Those who like fishing can take advantage of Pchelarovo and Petelovo Dams located close to the village of Pchelarovo as well as of Daskalovo 1 Dam and Daskalovo 2 Dam near the village of Daskalovo /10 km in the north-west/.
The natural phenomenon Stone mushrooms is located about 13 km north-east of the village, near the village of Beli plast. The local people call it Mantarkaya. The rock formations resembling mushrooms are product of rhyolitic volcano tuffs. The area was declared natural landmark in 1974.
