Spanchevtsi is a village in the municipality Varshets, Montana region.
It is 5 km southwest of Varshetz, 38 km south of Montana, 10 km southeast of Berkovitsa and about 95 km north of the capital Sofia.
It is situated at an altitude of 556 meters, in the Balkan Mountains, at the foot of Mount Teddy dolls. The climate is characterized by cool summers, warm and long autumns and relatively mild winters.
The population is about 350 people. There is regular transport to Varshetz.
The village has a town hall, a restaurant, recreation station and church. Nearest kindergartens and schools in the city Varshets. Back in the municipal center there is a medical center affiliate for ambulance and a hospital is operating in Montana.
