Selishte is a village in the municipality of Sevlievo, Gabrovo region.
In Bulgaria there are another two settlements bearing the same name - in municipality of Blagoevgrad, Blagoevgrad region and Smolyan municipality, Smolyan district.
It is situated 35 km south of Sevlievo, 35 km west of Gabrovo, 15 km east of Apriltsi and about 220 km northeast of Sofia.
It is located at the foot of Stara Planina and magnificent views of Mount Botev.
The climate is characterized by cold and snowy winter, while summer is sunny, but cool.
The population numbers about 130 people. There is regular bus transport to and from Sevlievo.
In the Selishte there are a town hall, community center, church and two stores. There is a nursery goods about 6 km north-east in the village of Stokite, and the nearest schools and hospitals are located in the town of Apriltsi.

Church "St. George" in the village, which was completely renovated in 2008 and the Lion's Bridge.
Batoshevo Monastery "Assumption", founded in XIII century under Tsar Mikhail Assen.
Reserve "Singing Rocks", which is a part of National park "Central Balkan".
