Selcha is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Devin Municipality, Smolyan region.

It is situated at 36 km northwest from the town of Devin, in the same direction at 76 km from the town of Smolyan and 197 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
It is 14 km from the road to Devin. There is regular bus transport to and from the village.

Located in the Western Rhodopes Mountains between rivers Vacha and Gansha at 1000-1020 m altitude. The mountain climate is characterized by mild winter and cool summer with many sunny days.

The permanent population is about 676 people. The main occupation is agriculture.

The village has a town hall, community center, primary school, mosque, shops and cafes. Mobile operators have coverage. Medical care is taken over by a doctor who is available four days a week.
Nearest kindergarten, primary school and hospital are located in the town of Devin.

LANDMARKS

Kemerovo bridge with length - 30m, width - 3 m and height - 6m. Seen from the side it is a semicircle. In medieval times the bridge was a connection between the Thracian Valley and Thessaloniki.

23 km from the village is located the dam "Vacha" , offering anglers opportunities for rich pickings. People who like natural beauty can enjoy the spruce, fir and beech forests, occupying the northern mountain slopes and the array of white and black pine, oak and hornbeam along the southern slopes. The forests are full of game, creating conditions for development of sport hunting.

In the vicinity of the village there is a variety of rock formations and caves - Cave "Petvarski dupki", cave "Chiflika", caves in the area "Byalata stena" and others.

Suitable for recreation are the chalets situated around the village - "Chilingira", "Varhovrah", "Persenk", "Modar", Complex "Antonivanovtsi" and others.
