Samuilovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.
There are another three villages in Bulgaria with the same name - Samuilovo in (Dobrich region), (Blagoevgrad region), (Stara Zagora region).
It is 12 km south away from the city of Sliven, 117 km from Burgas, 21 km north from city of Yambol and 296 km east from the capital city Sofia.
Regular bus transport connects it with Sliven and Sofia.
The village is situated at 150 m altitude.
This is one of the big villages in the region, with population of 1900 inhabitants.
The climate is temperate continental. Short winter and cool summer.
In the village there is brand new church "St. Konstantin and Elena", school, community center, health service, pharmacy shop, post office and few small companies. There is internet access, cable TV and coverage of all the mobile operators. The nearest hospital is in the city of Sliven.
There is a well developed fruit (peaches, apples, etc.) and grain production in the village.
The favorable location, the proximity to the river Tundzha and landscapes in the area make Samuilovo a suitable place for development of rural and ecological tourism.
