The village of Prosenik is located in South-East Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Ruen, Burgas District.
It is about 30 km from Nessebar and Aheloy, 30 km from Sunny Beach, about 40 km north of Burgas, where there is International Airport, convenient bus and railway transport to any point in Bulgaria.
Located about 90 meters above sea level at the foot of the eastern slopes of Stara Planina mountain. The village is included in the Green Book of Bulgaria. Nature is beautiful in the region, and the air is crystal clear. 6 km to a lake suitable for fishing and picnics.
The population is about 1400 people.
The village has a GP, pharmacy, primary school, community center and full-day kindergarten.
