Progled is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Chepelare Municipality, Smolyan region.

Situated 7 km southeast from the town of Chepelare, about 7 km northeast from the resort Pamporovo, 21 km north from the town of Smolyan and 226 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
The village has regular bus service to and from the towns of Chepelare and Smolyan.

Progled Village is located in the Rhodope Mountains, on the right bank of the Chepelare river at 1467 meters altitude. The permanent population is only about 70 people.

Mountain climate is mild with a Mediterranean influence. Winter is mild and snowy and summer is cool and wet.

Progled has a town hall, church "St. Panteleimon" and community center. The guests of the village can stay at one of the three guest houses. There is cable TV, Internet and coverage of all mobile operators. Nearest kindergarten, schools and hospitals are located in the town of Chepelare.

In recent years Progled established itself as a beautiful resort village situated near the ski slopes of Pamporovo, Chepelare, next to Mounts "Snezhanka", "Murgavets", "Large Perelik" and Astronomical Observatory Rozhen.

During the summer in the village you can see the "Rhodope cream" listed in the red book.

Around Progled village hidden in the pine forest there are several chapels, to which the walk is very pleasant - "St. Panteleimon "," St. Marina"," St. Iliya"," St. Troitsa"," St. Kirik and Yulita".

Nearby there are many attractions you can visit: - "Wonderful Bridges", "Haidushki polyani" area, "Rocks of Orpheus", "Buinovo" gorge and "Trigradsko" gorge, "Yagodinska"cave , "Devil's Throat Cave".
