Polski senovets is a village in Polski Trambesh municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.
It is located 9 km southwest of Polski Trambesh, 34 km north of Veliko Tarnovo, 80 km southwest of Ruse and 240 km northeast of Sofia.
It is situated at an altitude of 134 meters. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold winters.
The population outnumbers about 760 people. There are regular bus and rail to Polski Trambesh and nearby cities.
The village has a town hall, post office, shops and health center with a dentist. Nearest school and kindergarten are located in the village of Petko Karavelovo / 6 km /. Medical services are provided by hospitals in the city of Polski Trambesh.
Sightseeing:
In the community center can be seen mineral springs whose water possesses valuable medicinal properties and history museum that presents exhibits that trace the bits in the region.
Near the village of Krusheto / 15 km / are the ruins of Nicopolis ad Istrum and Kale with preserved walls. Its total area is 21.55 hectares. The excavations are open for visitors from early spring to late autumn.
About 27 km away is situated Transfiguration Monastery - one of the biggest Bulgarian monasteries.
The village of Arbanassi is located about 32 km. It is remarkable for its monumental houses and churches with rich interior decoration, wood carving and mural paintings created in XVI-XVII century These unique monuments of our architectural and artistic heritage is the reason why Arbanassi attracts not only tourists but also scientists, archeologists, historians, architects and artists.
