Pet mogili is a village in southeast Bulgaria. It is located in Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven region.
In Bulgaria there is one more village with the same name in Shumen region.
It is about 25 km south from the town of Nova Zagora, 43 km southeast from the city of Stara Zagora, about 58 km southwest from the district town of Sliven and 260 km southeast from the capital city Sofia.
There are bus lines from the village to Nova Zagora, Sliven, Radnevo, Stara Zagora, Topolovgrad.
The village is situated along a small unnamed river at 150 meters altitude.
Population is about 500 inhabitants.
Its territory falls within the moderate continental climate zone. Winter is mild and dry summer is relatively hot. Spring and autumn are rainy.
The village has a nice center and public buildings. Houses and farmyards have been updated. There are health service, physical culture and tourism company, school, community center and church "St. Petka" was built in 1893-1895. In Pet mogili there is a general practitioner taking care of the inhabitants. The nearest hospital is located in Nova Zagora.
Characteristic for the area is carbonate humus soils. Suitable for growing grain bread, grain and forage crops, sunflower, vegetables.
The village has an opportunity to develop rural, cultural and ecological tourism.
About 12 km away is located Ovcharitsa lake, ideal for fishing, carp and perch can be caught there.
Near Pet mogili are the remains of an ancient necropolis. There was found a bronze statuette of Venus and 1000 tetradrahmi.
