Paskalevo is a village in Northeast of Bulgaria, part of Dobrich municipality, Dobrich region. The village is located in the midst of Dobrudzha plateau and is situated 12 km north of the town of Dobrich, 15 km from the town of General Toshevo, 43 km from the town of Balchik and 43 km from the resort Albena.
The relief is predominantly plain. The climate is temperate with the typical for this area hot summer, sunny fall, cold winter with snow fall and cool spring. The population is about 653 people. The altitude is about 258 m. The old name of Paskalevo was Ezi Bey.
The village was created in the XVI century around the stock of the Turkish Bey Ezi. The first Bulgarians were led here by the priest Paskal in 1832. The school of the village is one of the oldest in Dobrudzha. It was supposed that he was found by Pop Paskal that once was the name of the village.
In Paskalevo there is community center, primary school, kindergarten, food stores, town hall, post office, GP cabinet and vet clinic. There are constructed electricity and water systems. The roads are in very good condition. Also regular bus transportation connects Dobrich to the villages in proximity.
Here is developed the stock breeding and farming also the soil is very fertile and the locals are proud.
The cosy houses and the warm atmosphere makes it together with its beautiful nature are the nice infrastructure and the proximity to the regional center of Dobrich. Paskalevo offers excellent conditions as well as village tourism and it is year round living.
