Ovchaga is a village in North-East Bulgaria, part of Provadiya municipality, Varna region. It is located 68 km to the city of Varna and the sea-coast and 15 km to the municipal center of Provadiya.

The population numbers to approximately 165 people. Altitude - 162 m. The relief is flat-hilly. The climate is temperate-continental and is characterized by a hot summer, colourful autumn, cold winter with plenty of snowfalls and a sunny spring.
Several English and a French families have bought properties in the village.

In the village there is a mayoralty, food shop, pub, post-office, community center with a library, doctor's office. The settlement is supplied with water and electricity on a regular basis, there are 10 wells and 3 public water fountains. Free transportation is provided for the pupils and the children attending kindergartens in Provadiya. The roads are in a very good condition. Repairs are planned for part of the roads in the area.
Several Thracian tombs and settlements from the antiquity were found near the village. Most significant artefacts are some silver coins, which are now on display in a museum.
On the territory of Ovchaga is to be found one of the largest hazelnut plantations in the country, with an area of approximately 500 000 sq. m. The fertile land is being cultivated by local  agricultural co-operations. Various types of cultures are planted - sunflower, rape-seed and oats. Vine-growing is traditionally being developed in the area. Two farmers from the village are engaged into stock-breeding of sheep and cows.
The area offers excellent conditions for the development of eco-productions - the climate is fine and the nature is well-preserved.
