Orlovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Kotel Municipality, Sliven region.
In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name in Haskovo Municipality, Haskovo region.
Situated 19 km north from the town of Kotel, 27 km southeast from the town of Omurtag, 70 km northeast from the town of Sliven and 326 km northeast from the city of Sofia.
It is 393 meters above sea level. The permanent population is 180 people.
The climate is continental with Mediterranean influence. Characterized by short summer and cool winter.
The village has a town hall and community center. Mobile operators have coverage.
The nearest kindergarten, school and hospital are located in the town of Kotel.
The village is situated in an area with beautiful and preserved nature, clean air, mountains and mountain streams.
In the town of Kotel declared an architectural and historical reserve, tourists can enjoy the rich history and Renaissance architecture. More than 110 houses from the Renaissance are preserved.
There is a Natural History Museum, which is among the largest in Bulgaria and Historical Museum, which has 3 exposures in the city and 5 exposures Zheravna and Medven authentic villages with preserved Renaissance architecture and rich history.
