Ogoya is a village in West Bulgaria. It is located in Svoge municipality, Sofia region.

It is 30 km southeast from the town of Svoge, 33 km northeast of the town of Novi iskar and 49 km in the same direction from the capital Sofia.

It is situated in mountain region at the foot of Murgash mountain that is part of the west part of Stara planina mountain and its altitude is about 914 m. The village is characterized by temperate and mountain climate. This makes the weather in the winter cold, the summer is cool and the fall comes earlier than in the other parts of the country. The climate conditions allow the development of bee keeping, raspberry collecting, herbs and mushrooms collecting.

The permanent population is about 69 people.

Here functions community center. The nearest school, kindergarten and medical center are in the town of the municipality the town of Svoge.

Every year on the day of St. Panteleimon in the area St Panteleimon is sacrificed animal for food and well being of the villagers from both Ogoya and Bukovets villages. 

In the municipality there are a couple of natural landmarks that you must see. These are Lakatnishki rocks near the village of Lakatnik (50 km) and the cave Temnata dupka that is at its foot, near Bov village is Skaklya waterfall and Elata cave, the monastery "Seven altars" (near altars) and Iskretski monastery as well as a couple of cottages in the area - Proboinitsa, Trastenaya, Dobarchin etc. The nature around Svoge is impressive with its many forests and beautiful meadows.
