Oborishte is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is in Panagyurishte Municipality, District of Pazardjik.
There are two other settlements in Bulgaria with the same name, located respectfully in Valchi Dol Municipality, District of Varna and an administrative area in Sofia Municipality, city of Sofia.
Oborishte stands about 10 km west of the town of Panagyurishte, about 50 km north-west of the town of Pazardjik, about 80 km in the same direction from the town of Plovdiv and about 80 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.
Trakia Motorway (A1) is about 30 km north of Oborishte.
Regular bus transportation links the village to Panagyurishte and the surounding settlement.
The village is in mountainous area, with average altitude 700 m.
Climate in the region is continental, with typical for the mountains cool summers and mild winters.
The population of the village of Oborishte is about 1265 residents.
The infrastructure is settled with partly asphalted streets and lighting, electrical and water-supply systems, telephone lines and coverage of mobile operators.
Public building in the village are a town house, church, kindergarten, community center and shops.
Medical services to the residents are provided by two GP and two dentists.
The closest schools and hospitals are in the municipal center of Panagyurishte.
