Nikolaevo is a village in Northern Bulgaria. It is located in Strazhica Municipality, Veliko Tarnovo Region.
There are one town and four villages in Bulgaria named the same way.
The village is located 10 km north of the city of Strazhitsa, 39 km northeast of Dolna Oryahovitsa, 42 km in the same direction of Gorna Oryahovitsa and 50 km northeast from the town of Veliko Tarnovo.
The altitude of the village is 200-299 meters. The climate is temperate. It is suitable for cultivation of grain, industrial crops (sunflower), vegetables, sugar beets, grapes and more.
The population of the village numbers about 89 people.
Nikolaevo does not offer educational and medical services. There are a few high schools and two kindergartens, general and specialized medical and dental care in the nearest town- Strazhitsa.
At the upper end of the village rises Cherni Lom river.
Another landmark of the village is the artificial hill. It is almost in the middle of the village. The top of the hill is a round, flat meadow.
Especially attractive is the village fountain, which does not change its water flow and low temperature even in the driest periods.
