Narechenski Bani is a village located in Southern Bulgaria, part of Municipality Asenovgrad, District of Plovdiv.
The population of the village is about 1000 residents. In the summer this number rises up to 3000 with the guests of the resort.
The relief is mountainous, with average altitude of 620 m.
The climate in the region is continental, with mild and snowy winters and cool summers.
The infrastructure in Narechenski Bani includes partly asphalted and lighted streets, full electrification, water-supply system, partial sewerage system, Internet and telephones.
A secondary road connecting Asenovgrad and the town of Chepelare passes through the village.
There are regular buses from and to the towns of Asenovgrad andPlovdiv.
Town house, post office, primary school, community center, church and chapels are at disposal for the residents. There also are shops, cafés and restaurants.
Narechenski Bani is one of the famous SPA resorts in Bulgaria. There are three mineral sources – Solenoto izvorche, Ochnoto izvorche and Banski izvor. A number of medical nerve and diabetic conditions are treated here. There are several hydropathic and holiday homes.
Close to the village there are many attractions. In direction Plovdiv is the Bachkovo Monastery, which is the second largest in Bulgariaand Asen’s Fortress. Krastova Gora is about 37 km away, and in direction Smolyan, there are Chepelare and the ski resort of Pamporovo.
