Mostovo is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in Asenovgrad Municipality, District of Plovdiv.
It stands about 30 km south of the town of Asenovgrad, about 50 km south-east of the town of PLovdiv and about 190 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.
Regular bus transportation links the village to Asenovgrad and the surrounding settlements.
The village of Mostovo is disposed in a mountainous region in the Rodope ridge Dobrostan, at about 920 m of altitude.
Climate is continental, characterized with cold winters and cool summers.
The population of Mostovo is about 67 residents.
The village infrastructure is settled with partly asphalted streets and lights and telephone lines.
There is a church and church.
Medical care for the residents is provided in the village of Cherven about 18 km north of Mostovo. The closest hospitals and schools are in the municipal center of Asenovgrad.
Above the village, about 3 km away is the well-known monastery of Kratova Gora, daily visited by hundreds of tourists from around Bulgaria.
A couple of hours drive away from Mostovo is the ancient Roman temple "Karadzhov stone" which boasts with antique images. Sushitsa River passes through the village, which rises in Karadzhov stone. Over the years the river has made а cave, which it passes through and into the village Yugovo. This cave is used as a natural bridge on the road that connects Asenovgrad with Mostovo.
East of the Bridge is another famous sanctuary - "Belintash".
