Village of Mladovo

Mladovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.

Situated 24 km southwest from the town of Sliven, 5 km northwest from the town of Kermen, 19 km in the same direction from the town of Nova Zagora and 287 km southeast from the city of Sofia.
Regular bus service connects it with the city of Sliven.

It is located at an altitude of 146 meters. Climate is mild - winter is short and summer relatively cool.

The permanent population is about 670 inhabitants. Main occupation is agriculture and livestock.

The village has town hall, church "Uspenie Bogorodichno", community center, shops and cafe. There is coverage of mobile operators, Internet and cable TV. In the village work three General Practitioners.
In the town of Kermen there is a kindergarten and elementary school and the nearest hospital is located in Sliven.

Tourism

In the land of the neighboring village Zlati voivoda are located the resort Sliven Mineral Baths. Resort with healing mineral water and picturesque scenery.

In Sliven village guests can visit: Temple "St. Sofia", church "St. Bogoroditsa", Historical Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, House - museum Hadzhi Dimitar.

The area "Karandila" is located in the northeastern part of Sliven, among old-growth forests. There is situated the Nature Park "Simite kamani" area of 11,380 hectares, with many interesting rock formations.
