Malko Chochoveni is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.

It is about 16 km southwest from the town of Sliven, about 31 km northeast from the town of Nova Zagora, 125 km northwest from the town of Burgas, 292 km east from Sofia. Gavrailovo village is located 4 km southwest.
There is a regular bus service to the town of Sliven.

Located 203 meters above sea level. The climate is temperate continental. Winters are mild and summers hot. Autumn is longer than spring.

The permanent population is about 340 inhabitants. Here are grown fruit and vegetable.

The village has a community center, shops and cafes. There is cable TV, Internet and mobile phone coverage. Its residents rely on two general practitioners. In the neighboring village Gavrailovo you can find post office, school, kindergarten, two hospitals. The nearest hospital is in the town of Sliven.

Landmarks

Only 15 minutes on the road Gavrailovo - Byala leads to high dam in the area Elata with altitude 750m. Near the dam is built shelters to be used both in summer and winter.
About 4 km south of the village passes river Tundzha. Place for recreation and relaxation. Surrounded with large areas planted with peaches.
13 km south is located one of the largest spa complexes in Bulgaria, Sliven Mineral Baths.
Near the village Chintulovo / 4 southeast / is situated the monastery "St. Prorok Iliya", built in 1830. It was destroyed in 1950 and currently there is a hard work on his recovery.
In the town of Sliven village guests can visit: "St. Sofia", "St. Mary", the Historical Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, the House - Museum Hadzhi Dimitar.
Area Karandila is located in the northeast part of Sliven. There is located the Nature Park "Sinite kamani" area of 11,380 hectares, it has many interesting rock formations.
