Lopushnya is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Godech municipality, Sofia region.
It is located in mountain region at the foot of Chepan mountain and its altitude is about 763 m. The climate is temperate. The summer is warm but not hot while the winter is cool.
The permanent population is about 17 people.
The nearest schools, as well as stores are working in the municipality. There you can get medical assistance while the specialized hospitals are on the territory of the capital.
In the village is situated unique for Bulgaria school of horseback archery "The Way of the Horse and Bow". There are constructed training grounds for riding and archery, as well as yurts.
The monastery "St Nickolay Letni" in the town of Godech is interesting touristic attraction. In it there is new temple and ancient Roman temple from the II-IV century and is declared monument of culture. In it there are two altars and the construction is of stone blocks that have made the temple unique of its kind for the country. Interesting is also the fact that the Roman temple in Titsi (England) is just alike ours for its facade, date of construction and disposition are just the same.
The church "St Dimitar" is art monument of culture with local significance.
