Kundevo is a village in South Bulgaria. It is situated in Nedelino municipality, Smolyan region.

It is 12 km northeast of the town of Nedelino, 19 km southwest of the town of Ardino, 54 km southeast of the town of Smolyan and 280 km in the same direction from the capital Sofia.
The village is with regular bus transportation.

It is situated on altitude of 805 m. The climate is continental with Mediterranean influence. The winter is mild and snowy, the summer is cool and wet, while the fall is long and warm.

Kundevo is with permanent population of about 220 people.

Here are functioning town hall, coffee shop and two stores. There is Internet connection, cable TV and coverage of the mobile operators. In the neighboring village of Sredets 9 km east you will find post office, school, kindergarten, community center, there also you can get medical assistance. The nearest situated hospital is in the town of Madan (27 km northeast).

Tourism and landmarks

The people that visit it can take advantage of the guest house with pub, constructed in the typical Rhodopi style.

In proximity to the town of Nedelino you can visit the chapels "St Ravnoapostoli Konstantin and Elena", "St Atanas" and "St Nedelya" that form the so called Krastata gora.

Tourist complex "Belite brezi" is built in the natural birch reserve (7 km from the town of Ardino through the road Kardzhali - Smolyan) that is with about 14 relaxation houses and cottages.
Thracian holy place "Orlovite skali" near the town of Ardino about 2 km from the town.
Thracian fortress Kaleto - it is 500 m from Orlovite rocks.
