Village of Krushare

Krushare is a village in the municipality of Sliven, Sliven District.

It is situated 15 km south-east of Sliven, 15 km north-west of Yambol and 300 km east of Sofia.

It is situated at an altitude of 138 meters, on the banks of the river Tunzha. The climate is characterized by mild winters and cool summers.

The population is about 2,140 people. There is regular bus transport to Sliven, Yambol and neighboring settlements.

In Krushare there are a town hall, community center, primary school, kindergarten and shops. Medical care is covered by three GPs and a dentist. The nearest hospital is located in the city of Sliven.

Here were born Demir Demirev - athlete in weightlifting, Kamen Vasevski writer and wrestler Stanka Zlateva.

Church "Holy Trinity", which was founded in 1911. In 2011. It was completely renovated and restored;
Memorial in honor of those who died in the Patriotic War 1944 1945.;
About 2 km from Krushare were found Thracian tombs. Excavations have found gold rings, jewelry and other items that can now be seen in Sliven Historical Museum.

At about 18 km from the village is situated park "Blue Stones".
