Krali Marko

Krali Marko is a village in Southern Bulgaria. It is located in Pazardjik Municipality, District of Pazardjik.

It stands about 13 km north-west of the town of Pazardjik, about 60 km south-west of the town of Velingrad and about 120 km south-east of the capital of Sofia.

Trakia Motorway passed about 5 km south-west of the village.
Regular bus transportation links Krali Marko to Pazardjik and the settlements in the region.

The relief of the village is flat, it is disposed at the right bank of the River Luda Yana, at an altitude about 230.

Climate in the region is continental, characterized with mild winters and warm and dry summers.

The population of Krali Marko is about 211 residents, making it one of the smallest villages in the Districts of Pazardjik.

The village infrastructure is settled with partly asphalted streets and lights, sewerage and telephone lines.
There is a church, community center and shops in the village.

Medical services to the village residents are provided by GPs and dentists in the village of Chernogorovo about 4 km to the north. There are the closest kindergarten and schools as well, and the closest hospital is the administrative center of Pazardjik.

Pyasachnik Reservoiris located about 20 km north-east of Krali Marko village. It offers paid fishing.

Year-round mountain resort of Tsigov Chark is about 50 km away. It is disposed at the bank of Batak Reservoir and in close proximity to the Rodope Peak of Golyama Syutkya (2186 m), offering excellent opportunities for fishing and a number of eco-trails.

Numerous cultural and tourist attractions can be visited in the town of Pazardjik.
