Krachimir is a village in Northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Belogradchik, Vidin region.
It is located 16 km southwest of the town of Belogradchik, 75 km in the same direction from the town of Vidin and 178 km north-west of Sofia.
Krachimir village is located in a mountainous region, characterized by relatively cold winters and hot summers. The average altitude is 476 m.
The population of the village numbers 19 people. There are no educational and medical institutions in the village. Children can visit those in the neighboring town of Belogradchik. Again, there are general practitioners and dentists who care for people's health. The medical centers in the city offer specialized assistance.
Near the village passes Stakevska river that is suitable for fishing.
There is a monument to the fallen in the wars.
Remina dupka cave is located between village of Stakevtsi and Krachimir. It is with an easy access.

Belogradchik Rocks - probably the most famous rock formations in Bulgaria, which are part of the 100 national tourist sites. They are located about 10 km northeast.
"Magura" cave is located about 39 km north. It is one of the most beautiful caves the country, also part of the 100 national tourist sites.
Rakovitsa monastery "Holy Trinity" is located 51 kilometers in the same direction. It was founded in X-XI century and after the fall of Bulgaria under Ottoman rule it declined. In the XVII century it was restored by St. Pimen of Sofia, but at the end of XVIII century, was burned down. Currently he is restored and constantly operating.
