Kozichino is a village in Southeast Bulgaria. It is situated in Pomorie municipality, Burgas region.
It is 40 km north of the town of Burgas, 31 km north of the town of Pomorie, 20 km northwest of the town of Sveti Vlas and 23 km northwest of the town of Nesebar.
The permanent population is about 260 people.
The relief is plain and its altitude is about 500 m. The climate is temperate and is under the influence of Black sea as well as of the air flows that are coming from the Mediterranean. The winter is mild while the spring is cool, the fall is prolonged and warm. The summer is hot.
Kozichino is with well maintained infrastructure. There is regular bus transportation to the town of Burgas, Pomorie and the other resorts in the area. In the village are functioning town hall, library, post office and community center "Prosveta" where is also formed group for authentic folklore and archaic dialect. The nearest medical center and school are in the neighboring village of Goritsa that is just 4 km away.
In the lase couple of years the village of Kozichino has become attractive tourist destination and especially for the foreigners on the Bulgarian sea cost. Here are well developed eco and village tourism. In the area there are many touristic sites and natural landmarks, one of them is the rock phenomenon Dobrovanskite gabi.
In proximity to the village is the dam from where springs the river of Dvoinitsa.
Another landmark is the church "St martyr Paraskeva ". She is one of the little completely preserved churches in Bulgaria.
In the village of Kozichino can be seen working wind mill as well authentic carder for wool dragging. It is the only in Bulgaria where lazarkite do not go the houses on Lazarov day but on Tsvetnitsa.
