Koilovtsi is village in North Bulgaria. It is located in Pleven Municipality, Pleven Region.

It is situated 8 km west of Slavyanovo town, 39 km west the town of Levski, 19 km northeast of the regional center Pleven city and 181 km northeast from Sofia.

Regular bus service connects the village with the town of Slavyanovo from where buses depart to other big cities.

Koilovtsi is situated in the middle of Danubian Plain and its altitude is about 197 m.

The climate in the area is characterized by hot and dry summer, while the winter is cold with little precipitancies. The spring comes early and with lots of rainfalls during the months June and February. Hails are common in the area.

The permanent population of the village is 1070 people.

There are kindergarten, health service, renovated community center, church and shops. The park is well-maintained and there are also stadium, sports hall and gas station. Water tower was built that supplies the village with all the water needed. The nearest school is located in the town of Slavyanovo (8 km) where there is also medical center. In Pleven city works Pleven university hospital “Dr. G. Stranski”, University hospital – Pleven and other medical facilities.

The village is with well-maintained road infrastructure. There are water and electricity installations and sewerage.

Koilovtsi is becoming villa zone for its proximity to Pleven and all the newly constructed houses.
