Kazashka reka is a village in North-Eastern Bulgaria, part of Avren municipality, Varna region. It is located 40 km to the city of Varna, 12 km to the village of Avren and 4 km to the village of Yunak.
The relief is flat-hilly. The climate is temperate-continental, characterised by a hot summer, a sunny and warm spring, a mild winter with plenty of snowfalls and a cool spring. The population numbers to approx. 330 people. Altitude - 81 m.
The former name of the village used to be Kazak Dere.
In the village of Kazashka Reka there is a kindergarten, a doctor's office, a pensioner's club, grocery shops, a post-office and an Orthodox church built in 1910. The village is supplied with water and electricity on a regular basis. There is an opportunity for a gas-supply, as well. the roads are in a good condition. The Varna-Burgas rail-road is passing some 4 km to the village which guarantees a convenient and dependable access year-round.
Agriculture is the main occupation of the locals. Traditionally, the village is famous for its fine vegetables grown in greenhouses.
Being rather isolated and surrounded by a picturesque nature the village has become an oasis of peacefulness and relaxation.
The village offers excellent conditions for the development of rural and eco-tourism due to its beautiful nature and good transportation links.
