Karapoltsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Elin Pelin, Sofia region.
It is located in the Sofia Valley at the foot of Sredna gora mountain and its altitude is 594 m. The area falls within a zone with temperate climate. It is characterized by warm summer and considerably cold winter.
The permanent population is about 94 people.
The infrastructure is good. There are constructed water and electricity systems. The main streets are asphalted and with lighting.
