Kamenovo is a village in southeast Bulgaria. It is located in Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven region.
In Bulgaria there is one more village with the same name in Razgrad region.
The village is situated in the foots of East Sredna Gora mountain, 10 km east from the town of Nova Zagora, about 29 km southwest from the town of Sliven, about 42 km east from the city of Stara Zagora and 271 km northeast from the capital city Sofia.
Main road E773 - Nova Zagora - Sliven passes through the village .
To and from Kamenovo there is regular bus transport.
The village is with 160 m altitude. The population is around 500 inhabitants.
The climate is temperate continental. Winter is mild and dry, summer moderately hot. Quite a large amount of rainfalls during the spring and autumn.
Village has a town hall, church "St. Bogoroditsa", kindergarten and community center. There is an internet access, cable TV and coverage of all the mobile operators. One general practitioner is looking after the health of the inhabitants. The nearest hospital and schools are in the town of Nova Zagora.
The guests of the village can enjoy Zhrebchevo dam, located at about 39 km from Kamenovo.
It is situated in an unbelievably beautiful area, surrounded with forests and meadows, it is a true heaven for the fisherman.
