Ivanovtsi is a village in northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Vidin, District Vidin.
It is located about 23 km southwest of Vidin and about 35 km northwest of the town of Kula. The distance to Sofia city is 190 km.
The climate is characterized by cold and windy winter, while the summer is hot. The average altitude is 201 m.
The population numbers about 90 people.
Ivanovtsi has a town hall. The nearest school, kindergarten and hospital are located in the town of Vidin.
Tourism and landmarks:
A small and beautiful river flows near the village. It is suitable for fishing. There are many forests.
In Vidin one can visit: The Castle Baba Vida, the Turkish konak /police office/ Koluka, turned into a museum, the mosque and library of Osman Pazvantoglu, the Ethnographic Museum Krustata kazarma, Stambol Kapiya and many other cultural and architectural monuments, which the city is famous for.
