Hubavene is a village in the Municipality Roman, District Vratsa.
It is located 5 km south of the town of Roman, 45 km southeast of the city of Vratsa, about 100 km northeast of Sofia.
It is situated at an altitude of 332 m, 1 km from the coast of Malak Iskar River. The climate is characterized by cold winters and hot summers and cool autumn and spring. The population is about 380 people. There is a shuttle bus to Roman.
The village has a post office, a community center with dance and shops. Nearest kindergarten and school are located within the municipal center and there is a hospital in Mezdra / 30 km /.
In Hubavene can see partisan memorial plaque in honor of those who died for Bulgaria's freedom and anti-fascists in honor of the village. In addition, tourists can visit:
Village Kunino / 13 km /, where is the rock Chervenitsa, home of academic Ganovski Sava, where there is a museum which houses an ethnographic collection. In the area of the village were found over 200 caves, some of which are over 100 meters deep.
