Hrabarsko is a village situated in Western Bulgaria. It is part of Bozhurishte Municipality, Sofia region.
The village is located 28 km north-west from city of Sofia, 15 km in the same direction from town of Bozhurishte, 52 km north from town of Pernik, 12 km south-east from town of Slivnitsa, 18 km south-west from town of Kostinbrod and 40 km east from the Bulgarian-Serbian border.
The population is approximately 630 people.
Located at the northeastern foot of Mount Viskyar, at an altitude of 680 m.
The climate is temperate. Winters are mild with average monthly temperature of about 2 C, while summer is warm with average monthly temperatures around 21 C.
The village is electrified with excellent built and maintained infrastructure. Water and electricity supply. There is coverage of all mobile operators, automatic telephone exchange, cable TV and Internet. A construction of sewers.
There is community center with a library, health service staffed by a doctor and dentist.
There is regular bus transport to Sofia - route line. Passes through the village and railwaythe Pernik - Voluyak.
It is just 5 km from the international road E 80.
Because of its proximity to Bozhurishte and Sofia and availability of land, the area becomes more attractive for investment.
Population is employed in agriculture, farming, mining of lignite coal Hrabarsko area.
Near the dam is located Hrabarsko Hrabarsko suitable for recreational and sport fishing.
The hilly relief and the suitable climate conditions combined with the proximity to Vitosha and Lyulin Mountains make the region suitable for herb production and eco tourism. The area of Bozhurishte Municipality was announced as one of the most ecological regions in the country.
