Village of Hasovitsa

Hasovitsa is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Smolyan Municipality, Smolyan region.
It is about 15 km northeast from the town of Smolyan and in southeast direction - 27 km from the town of Chepelare, 23 km from the ski -resort Pamporovo and 244 km from the city of Sofia.
Asphalt road, deviation from the main road Plovdiv-Smolyan trough Rozhen, leads to the village of Hasovitsa. There is regular bus transport from the district town.
Located in the Rhodope Mountains, at altitude of 1064 meters. Winter is mild and snowy. Summer is cool and moist, and the autumn - long and warm.
The permanent population is only about 15 people.
Nearest kindergartens, schools and medical centers are located in the town of Smolyan.
The village has two guest houses with all facilities for recreation.
