Gyurgich is a village in northwestern Bulgaria. It is located in Ruzhintsi Municipality, Vidin region.

It is situated 15 km southeast of Ruzhintsi , 72 km south of the town of Vidin, 34 km southeast of the town of Belogradchik, about 150 km northwest of Sofia.

Located about 20 kilometers from the international road E-79 Sofia- Vidin.

Gyurgichka bara river passes through the village. The altitude is 272 meters . The climate is characterized by warm and relatively dry summer, cold winter.

The population numbers about 230 people .

There are town hall, community center, church, pub, and shop in the village. The nearest school, kindergarten and medical care are in Ruzhintsi.

Landmarks and tourism opportunities:

Gyurgich is one of the few villages that have two dams - small and large - in the mountains.

The church of the village was built in the thirties, but it remained unfinished.

Momina Skala rocks, part of the Belogradchik rocks formation.

Nechinska bara river passes along the village river, 7 km north are Ch. Smirnensky and Cherven bryag dams suitable for fishing.

2 km west of the village is a rocky peak Babu.

There is a cave near the peak.

South of the village is located a rocky hill, part of a broad mountain. From the north Gyurgich is surrounded by a wreath of rocks.
