Gorsko kalugerovo is a village in Suhindol municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.
It is 16 km southeast of Suhindol, 40 km northwest of Veliko Tarnovo, 20 km southwest of Pavlikeni and about 205 km northeast of Sofia.
It is situated at an altitude of 368 meters. The climate is characterized by hot, dry summers and cold winters.
The population numbers about 140 people. There is regular bus transport to and from Pavlikeni.
In the village are built elelctrical and water supply systems. There is a range of all mobile operators. In Gorsko Kalugerovo you can find a mayoralty and two grocery stores. Nearest kindergarten and school are located in Suhindol. Medical care is covered by the hospitals in the territory of Veliko Tarnovo.
About 8 km from the village is the dam lake "Alexander Stamboliiski" which offers excellent conditions for fishing and water sports. City Suhindol is well-known center of viticulture and wine by more than century-old traditions. In addition to enjoy its famous wines, visitors can still visit the church "St. Peter and Paul", built in 1901, the clock tower and "Suhindolskiya peak" - an extinct volcano, situated north of the city.
