Gorno selo is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Dragoman municipality, Sofia region.
It is 20 km southwest of the town of Dragoman, 21 km northeast of the town of Tran and 64 km northwest of the capital Sofia. The border with Serbia is just a few kilometers away while the border checkpoint Kalotina to the eponymous village is 34 km north of it.
It is situated in mountain region with picturesque nature and the houses are scattered on the near hills, its altitude is about 825 m. The climate is temperate. The summer is hot while the winter is cool. The amount of precipitation is little.
Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. There are constructed electricity system and partially water system.
The permanent population is about 31 people.
With its natural resources, gorgeous scenery and almost untouched by human. This is paramount to the development of it as a place for mountain tourism. The high rock vertical formations, the karst forms and other attract the attention of mountain climbers, hitch hikers and cavers, and the unknown territories for archeologists and botanics.
The people that enjoy extreme sports can jump with para glider from Chepan peak that is one of the most suitable for this action places.
Interesting are also the architectural and historical landmarks as Razboishki monastery, Cheparlyanski monastery, Dragoman swamp, Temnata dupka cave etc.
